Job Description:

The Regional Sales Manager – South Central is responsible for developing and implementing sales, marketing, financial and structural strategies in the assigned territory. The duties include visiting customers to communicate about sales goals and expectations and gathering research about their target market.

Essential Job Function:

The Regional Sales Manager – South Central Division is responsible for leading sales initiatives throughout the assigned territory. This role includes developing and executing territory-specific sales strategies, analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

The Regional Sales Manager actively builds and maintains strong customer relationships, drives business development efforts, and represents the company to strengthen brand awareness and market presence. This position requires extensive travel throughout the region to support customer engagement and sales activities, with travel expected approximately 60% of the time, including an average of 10–12 overnight stays per month.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Must successfully build relationships with current customers.
  • Grow business with assigned territory through maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Keep up to date with industry news and trends to identify opportunities for new business.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge.
  • Negotiate with OEM’s and aftermarket distributors.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals quarterly.
  • Develop revenue forecast in coordination with National Sales Director
  • Provide customer service in all facets of the sales process.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, Business or related field required, or equivalent work experience.
  • Or minimum of 5 years sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to plan and execute responsibilities working independently.
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
  • Ability to develop and present programs to both customers and sales organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated with high energy
  • Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements and needs.
  • Knowledgeable with use of computers, MS Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analyzing competitor activities in the region
