Assistant Manager – User Engagement

What You'll Do:
Build and execute end-to-end user engagement strategies that move the needle on activation, retention, and revenue. Specifically, you'll:
- Own the full user lifecycle — onboarding, activation, retention, and win-back — through in-app messaging, push, email, and other channels
- Design and run push notification campaigns that users actually want to open
- Dig into behavioural data (DAU/MAU, session length, retention cohorts, funnel drop-offs) to find what's working, what isn't, and what to try next
- Run continuous A/B tests on messaging, UI/UX, and user flows to compound small wins into big ones
- Partner with content, design, and engineering to ship experiences that match what users actually want
- Collaborate with monetisation and growth specialists on promotions, in-app activity, and ad strategies that drive revenue without hurting experience
- Keep a pulse on what's happening in the broader app, CRM, and healthcare/therapy space—and bring fresh ideas back to the team
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- 3+ years in marketing, growth, CRM, or user engagement roles
- Hands-on experience with app engagement, lifecycle marketing, or CRM
- Strong analytical chops — you can pull insights from a dashboard and translate them into an experiment plan. Comfort with Looker or similar BI tools
- Working knowledge of CRM and engagement platforms (Zoho, Firebase, HubSpot, MoEngage, CleverTap, or similar)
- A track record of running A/B tests and acting on the results
- Clear communication and the ability to work with product, design, and engineering without friction
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with B2C digital products, especially subscription-based or hobby/lifestyle categories
- Background in healthcare, wellness, or therapy products
- Familiarity with SQL or comfort querying data independently
