The UTS Graduate School of Health is recruiting a Lecturer in Speech Pathology to lead and support the delivery of clinical education within the Discipline of Speech Pathology, including clinical practice education, educator support, student supervision, management of the UTS Speech Pathology clinic, and contributions to the academic curriculum.

About the role

Speech Pathology at UTS is committed to delivering high-quality clinical education and preparing graduates for professional practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Lecturer to join our supportive and collaborative team in a continuing 0.8 FTE position. The role focuses on clinical education and clinical facilitation within the Master of Speech Pathology program, supporting students to develop clinical competency, contributing to curriculum development, and maintaining strong relationships with industry and professional partners through the UTS speech pathology clinic.

About You

You are an experienced Speech Pathologist with a passion for clinical education and student learning. You enjoy working collaboratively and are committed to supporting students to achieve clinical competency while building strong relationships with colleagues, industry partners and the wider profession.

As a Lecturer, you will possess:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology that qualifies for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Clinical experience in Speech Pathology and an understanding of clinical settings in Australia
  • Clinical education experience, including supervising students to achieve competency with adult clients
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality teaching and support student learning
  • Proven organisational and management skills within a clinical context
  • High-level interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders
  • Experience managing the administrative aspects of clinical practice, including caseload and practice management

What We Offer

Base Salary Range: $125,240 - $148,229 (Level B), plus 17% superannuation.

This role is part-time (0.8 FTE) and will be made on a continuing basis.
