Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role based in Västerås. The CFO will lead all financial operations, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, to support the organization’s strategic goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting and analysis, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls. The role will partner closely with the executive team on long-term financial strategy, capital allocation, and risk management, while providing clear insights and recommendations based on financial data. The CFO will also guide and develop the finance function, manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors and financial institutions, and implement tools and processes that enhance financial visibility and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Finance with proven experience leading financial operations in a growing or technology-oriented organization.
  • Proficiency in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling.
  • Hands-on experience preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with financial controls, compliance, and risk management, ideally in a software or tech environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience working on-site in a cross-functional environment and a readiness to be based in Västerås.
