Description

We are looking for a Core Banking System Manager to take ownership of the administration, maintenance, and evolution of our Core Banking System (CBS) and lead the dedicated team. This role is positioned at the intersection of system administration (run) and projects (change), requiring strong banking experience and solid exposure to core banking platforms.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of the bank’s core systems.

You'll be the operational heart of our Core Banking System, ensuring its smooth operation and continuous evolution.

Day-to-day operations:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Core Banking System to ensure smooth and reliable functioning.

• Administer, configure, and maintain the Core Banking System, ensuring proper setup and continuous optimisation.

• Monitor and safeguard system stability, availability, and performance, proactively addressing issues.

• Coordinate with the system provider to follow up on services delivered and ensure timely resolution of technical matters.

• Collaborate closely with internal departments to support operational needs and ensure seamless cross‑functional alignment.

System Evolution:

• Plan, coordinate, execute and test system updates, upgrades, maintenance cycles, and releases.

• Contribute to or lead core banking-related projects and integration with satellite software.

Collaboration & Process Management:

• Coordinate with internal teams (IT Development, Operations, Compliance) and external vendors.

• Support incident, problem, and change management processes.

• Ensure alignment with regulatory and operational banking requirements.

• Participate in the continuous improvement of CBS-related processes.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in the banking sector (required)

• Hands-on experience with a Core Banking System, preference for Temenos (T24 / Transact), but experience with Avaloq, Finnova, Olympic, APSYS or equivalent will be considered

• Solid background in CBS administration, application maintenance, update and upgrade cycles

• Project management experience is a strong asset

• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style

• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders

• Fluent in English; French is an advantage

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, • Engineering, Banking & Finance, or a comparable field

• Equivalent professional experience will be considered
