Salesforce QA Engineer
Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of their Salesforce ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications, working closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Salesforce applications.
- Validate new features, enhancements, integrations, and production releases.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and regression test suites.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
- Test Salesforce configurations including Flows, Apex, Lightning Components, validation rules, and custom objects.
- Validate integrations with third-party systems and APIs.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across Salesforce environments.
- Support release management and production deployments with thorough testing and validation.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce.
- Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, objects, workflows, validation rules, and Flows.
- Experience creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Experience testing API integrations and end-to-end business processes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or Tricentis.
- Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce deployment processes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or related) are a plus.
- Experience with CPQ, Experience Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud is preferred.
