External Innovation Specialist (PASHA Financial Holding)

• Venture Clienting & Scouting Execution
• Identify and research startups aligned with approved corporate use cases
• Conduct first-level screening and comparative analysis of potential solutions
• Coordinate communication between startups and internal business units during PoC stages
• Track PoC timelines, milestones, and evaluation outcomes
• Maintain structured scouting and use-case pipeline tracking
• Investment Analysis Support
• Conduct preliminary commercial and market analysis of potential investment targets
• Prepare screening summaries and support drafting of Investment Committee materials
• Compile due diligence documentation and coordinate information collection from founders
• Support portfolio monitoring and performance reporting
• Innovation Intelligence & Reporting
• Draft sections of industry intelligence and VC-perspective reports
• Collect, structure, and analyze data on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes
• Prepare presentation materials for internal stakeholders
• Data & Process Management
• Maintain startup database and CRM accuracy
• Track historical scouting initiatives and outcomes
• Ensure reporting consistency and data reliability

Requirements

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, management, or a related field

Professional Competencies:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Azerbaijani and English. Knowledge of Russian and Turkish is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with various programs, data analysis, and internet technologies
• Ability to identify emerging trends and think creatively
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and professional presentation skills

Relevant Experience:

• 1-2 years of professional experience in a relevant field, such as corporate innovation, consulting, venture capital, or startups
• Hands-on knowledge and experience with the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and/or support systems for entrepreneurship development
• Personal interest in technology, innovation, the startup world, and entrepreneurship

Knowledge of the finance/insurance market is preferred.
