Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing transactions to identify potential risks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Also, this role involves overseeing card and payment operations, resolving disputes, detecting fraud, and contributing to the development of our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily financial transactions to identify unusual or suspicious activities,
  • Conduct thorough analyses of transactions and escalate issues to the appropriate teams,
  • Manage card operations, payment operations and dispute processes,
  • Provide insights and recommendations for system improvements and process enhancements,
  • Participate actively in all stages of operational processes, from detection to resolution,
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards,
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency,
  • Maintain detailed documentation and records for all operational and monitoring activities,
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices regarding the related operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field,
  • 1+ years of experience in transactions monitoring, business operations, or a related role,
  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills,
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and data analysis platforms including having solid knowledge of MS Office applications,
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail,
  • Advanced written and verbal English communication skills (Spanish-speaking is a plus),
  • Must be accustomed to work with strict and busy deadline policies.
