About The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead / Solution Architect to support a portfolio of projects spanning both Gas and Electricity domains.

This role is centred on the design and delivery of practical, end-to-end solutions across Digital and OT systems. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across business, operations, and technology to ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements, operational needs, and delivery objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading solution architecture and detailed design across OT and IT systems
  • Defining integration patterns and data flows across field, operational, and enterprise platforms
  • Ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational requirements
  • Collaborating with vendors and delivery teams to implement fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Taking ownership from design through to delivery and handover
  • Enabling collaboration across cross-functional teams including field operations, security, and product

About You:

You are an experienced Solution Architect or Technical Lead with a strong background in utilities and OT-integrated environments.

Key experience includes:

  • Experience within Electricity and/or Gas utilities, including distribution or pipelines
  • Strong exposure to OT systems, smart metering, AMI, and SCADA environments
  • Understanding of Australian energy market frameworks (AEMO, AER, metering/data)
  • Experience integrating OT and IT systems across asset management, field operations, and control room environments
  • Familiarity with platforms such as SAP IS-U, GIS (GE Smallworld), and metering/distribution systems
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to drive design outcomes across multiple teams
  • A practical, structured approach with the ability to operate effectively in evolving environments
