Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Ho Chi Minh City Metropolitan Area for an Urban Planning Manager. The role involves overseeing urban development projects, conducting planning and feasibility studies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. The Urban Planning Manager will also ensure that projects adhere to local regulations, sustainability practices, and stakeholder requirements. Building strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders is a key focus.

Work description:

- Master Planning: Lead and manage comprehensive master planning for large-scale urban development projects (over 30 hectares).

- Concept & Design: Oversee the transformation of raw land concepts into sustainable, modern, and commercially viable urban landscapes.

- Vendor Management: Direct and evaluate international and local design consultants to ensure architectural and infrastructure concepts align with global standards.

- Authority Approvals: Navigate and manage technical regulatory processes to secure statutory planning approvals (1/2000, 1/500 zoning plans) from government agencies.)

Education and Specialization:

- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or Civil Urban planning (Degrees from reputable institutions like UAH or international universities are highly preferred).

- Experience: Minimum 8 years of active experience in urban design, with a proven track record of handling large-scale master plans (over 30ha) in Vietnam.

- Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, GIS, Civil 3D, and familiar with advanced modern workflows (e.g., BIM environment).

- Language: Professional working proficiency in English (for direct communication with international stakeholders and directors).
