What You'll Be Responsible

* Translate strategic ambitions across Customer Onboarding and Mastery, Financial Crime, and Fraud into an integrated technology roadmap and lead its execution from concept through to deli
very.* Lead and inspire multiple engineering teams to deliver business outcomes across these critical dom
ains.* Partner closely with business stakeholders and product owners to shape requirements, validate solutions, and ensure successful delivery through showcases and post-production monito
ring.* Take ownership of both solution delivery and operational excellence, ensuring applications are reliable, resilient, and supported through strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) pract
ices.* Lead cyber security and software currency initiatives, ensuring platforms remain secure, compliant, and up to date through ongoing patching and mainten
ance.* Build, develop, and coach high-performing engineering teams, creating an environment where individuals can thrive and grow their car
eers.* Establish and communicate a clear technology vision that aligns engineering outcomes with business priori
ties.* Drive operational excellence, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement across teams and platf

What You'll
Bring
* Significant experience leading large-scale engineering organisations within banking, financial services, or similarly regulated indu
stries.* Strong domain expertise in Customer Onboarding, Financial Crime, Fraud, Financial Crime Compliance, Customer Identity, or related
areas.* Deep understanding of Australian and/or global banking markets, including operating models, industry challenges, and emerging
trends.* Proven experience building and scaling engineering teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous le
arning.* Demonstrated success delivering complex technology transformation programs and strategic business ou
tcomes.* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leaders and navigate competing prio
rities.* Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into business ou
tcomes.* Experience leading technology operations, production support, reliability engineering, and cyber security uplift initi
atives.* A passion for protecting customers and improving experiences through technology-driven sol
utions.
