Description

About Us

Bridge Ventures is a multi-asset family office with a focus on investing across both private and public markets. We actively manage a diversified portfolio of private equity, venture capital, and public equity investments with a long-term approach to value creation. In addition to our investment activities, the family office manages operational and financial functions to support the family’s broader goals. We operate with a nimble and results-oriented team and are seeking an exceptional candidate with a deeply curious, research-driven mindset and a passion for understanding businesses, markets, and investment opportunities across the full spectrum of asset classes. The ideal candidate is intellectually versatile, enjoys diving into new industries and investment themes, and is excited to apply rigorous analysis in a dynamic environment. This candidate should also be eager to contribute across a range of business functions within a highly collaborative team.

Role Overview

We are seeking an intellectually curious Investment Research Associate to join the investment team managing a diversified portfolio across public and private markets. In this role you will produce rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, conduct deep dives on public companies and private opportunities, and generate actionable insights backed by strong fundamental research and disciplined risk analysis. The position offers unusually broad exposure across asset classes (including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, Fixed Income and Equities), strategies, and geographies, as well as direct collaboration with the CIO and senior investment staff. The ideal candidate will be a proven self-starter with experience working remotely and autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

Markets research & idea generation

  • Conduct fundamental research on covered public equity holdings, monitoring developments and flagging changes to the thesis on a timely basis.
  • Drive sector and thematic research across the firm's priority areas — AI, technology, infrastructure, finance, consumer, and healthcare — tracking macro trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscapes to surface new investment targets.
  • Author actionable investment theses grounded in capital-cycle analysis, valuation, and fundamental risks, and recommend new ideas to enhance the portfolio and generate above-market returns.

Due diligence & modeling

  • Conduct in-depth due diligence and prepare formal investment memos on emerging opportunities and thematic initiatives across both private investments and public equities for presentation to the investment committee.
  • Build and maintain financial models — including DCF analyses, operating projections, and investment return analyses — across both private investments and public equities, for prospective and existing investments.
  • Proactively, clearly, and concisely communicate investment recommendations to management.

Portfolio management & reporting

  • Maintain the deal pipeline and the firm's internal investment tracking database.
  • Monitor and review incoming communications from fund managers and administrators, identifying and escalating time-sensitive items including NAV updates, regulatory notices, capital calls, and distributions.
  • Evaluate and monitor ongoing portfolio-company and position performance.
  • Maintain and audit investment data within our portfolio management and reporting platform (Addepar), ensuring accurate, timely performance reporting and investment records.
  • Prepare portfolio reports, performance summaries, and analytics for internal use.
  • Support the CIO and senior team across the full investment process, from introductory meetings through diligence, modeling, and portfolio monitoring.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in buy-side investment analysis, asset management, equity/credit research, or investment banking.
  • A genuine passion for investing in both public and private markets and for in-depth fundamental research.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with research and data platforms such as PitchBook (experience with AI tools a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, sharp organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams as opportunities and issues arise.
  • Proven ability to work successfully in a remote environment. Demonstrates strong self-motivation, accountability and follow-through with minimal supervision in a small, fast-moving team.
  • Demonstrates a high standard of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute across a broad range of responsibilities, including projects and initiatives that may fall outside the formal scope of the role, to help advance the overall objectives of the family office.
  • Experience with Addepar investment software is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training and support will be provided as needed.
