Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Brand Managers to design and execute high-impact commercial activities.
- Growth Driving: Identify and secure lucrative business opportunities with new retail partners.
- Market Analysis: Analyze sales reports and market trends to provide data-driven recommendations that optimize retail operations.
Retail & POS Excellence
- Launch Execution: Prepare and execute flawless "new door opening" decks to expand the brand's physical footprint.
- Merchandising Oversight: Maintain impeccable Point of Sale (POS) standards, ensuring premium product positioning, visual merchandising alignment, and constant stock availability.
- Campaign Activation: Lead the in-store implementation of marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand animations.
Relationship & Account Management
- Key Accounts: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, supporting contract developments and order follow-ups.
- Customer Experience: Act as the escalation point for customer complaints, ensuring the team is equipped to resolve issues seamlessly.
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentorship: Supervise, mentor, and upskill a team of Retail Coordinators to ensure they hit their targets.
- Performance Management: Partner with the GM to establish clear KPIs, monitor progress, and foster a collaborative, high-energy team culture.
Operations, Stock & Reporting
- Inventory Control: Monitor regional stock and inventory levels, manage orders, and resolve any discrepancies upon delivery.
- Strategic Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on market performance, cash-on-hand, pricing, and competitor analysis.
- Live Feedback: Document in-country events and activations with high-quality photo/video updates and provide real-time performance insights to stakeholders.
- Admin Support: Handle essential administrative tasks, including precise minute-taking during brand meetings and managing local travel itineraries.
Qualifications
Experience & Background
- Industry Savvy: Proven experience in marketing or retail management, ideally within the beauty, cosmetics, or luxury goods sectors.
- Track Record: A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding commercial sales targets.
- Inventory Knowledge: Practical experience in stock management and supply chain follow-through.
Required Skills
Skills & Technical Competencies
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM systems, POS software, and retail management tools.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of sales data analysis, key account management, and familiarity with Private Financing Initiatives (PFI).
- Communication & Organization: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail and top-tier time management capabilities.
