Now Hiring: Regional Sales Manager – Metallurgy Industry (North America)
ABB is seeking an experienced sales professional to support the continued growth of our Metallurgy business across North America. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with leading steel and aluminum producers, helping them improve productivity, increase operational efficiency, and reduce emissions through innovative industrial technologies.
The ideal candidate understands the unique challenges facing the Metallurgy industry and is passionate about building long-term customer relationships while delivering solutions that create measurable value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth within the steel and aluminum markets across North America
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and partner
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while monitoring market trends and competitive activity within the metals sector
- Lead the technical and commercial aspects of proposals in collaboration with internal teams
- Manage territory plans, sales forecasts, and budgets to achieve sales and profitability targets
- Represent ABB at customer meetings, industry events, and presentations throughout the region
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 8+ years of experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 12+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales within the Metallurgy industry or related process industries
- Experience working with steel producers, aluminum manufacturers, rolling mills, melt shops, or continuous casting operations strongly preferred
- Knowledge of steelmaking processes, including continuous casting and electric arc furnace (EAF) operations, is highly desirable
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex solutions to a variety of stakeholders
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50–70% throughout North America

Remote, with a preference for candidates based in the Midwest or Eastern United States.
