Job Summary
Works under minimal direction to provide technical skills and expertise required to develop, modify, and maintain police computer operating system software.
Responsible for the support and maintenance of all police department specific technology systems including desktop computers, servers, databases and applications that impact critical department operations, functions and services. Troubleshoots desktop, server, application and network issues. Participates in the roll out of new software/firmware, features, fixes, and upgrades by coordinating with vendors and IR department, issuing announcements, developing training guides and manuals and conducting training as necessary.
