Programme Manager
Remote (Spain, Portugal or UK)
€600- €640 per day
Initial 5 month engagement
We’re working with a leading global enterprise software organisation, who are seeking a strategic Senior Programme Manager to spearhead the evolution and scaling of their Next-Gen Data & AI ecosystem.
This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy mandate reporting directly to the SVP of Data and Digital Services. Rather than focusing on tactical task-tracking, the successful consultant will operate as the strategic "Product Owner" of their program area, navigating a fluid, rapidly changing landscape to move complex, multi-workstream initiatives from design to execution.
We are looking for a leader who excels in program oversight, market research, executive-ready presentations, and driving cross-functional alignment across large-scale corporate matrix environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- AI CoE Scaling: Architect and execute the foundational roadmap for a global AI Center of Excellence (CoE), translating cutting-edge research into repeatable, scalable global services and frameworks
- Strategic Alliance Leadership: Serve as the primary technical program lead for strategic enterprise AI partnerships (including Microsoft and AWS), ensuring the organisation maximises co-innovation and early technology access.
- Service Definition: Define the strategic "what" and "why" for core data services, authoring clear technical specifications that empower engineering cells to build high-performance, secure solutions.
- Executive Stakeholder Alignment: Partner closely with SVPs and business leaders to align complex technical AI initiatives directly with core corporate KPIs, translating technical infrastructure into business impact.
- Ecosystem Governance: Establish robust frameworks for model deployment, data governance, and ethical AI utilisation across the wider enterprise.
Skills & Experience:
- Complex Program Delivery: A proven track record of managing and delivering structured outcomes for complex, multi-workstream technical initiatives. (While 10+ years of tenure is not a strict requirement, demonstrated delivery experience of this scale is non-negotiable).
- AI/ML Domain Fluency: Deep conceptual and practical understanding of AI/ML lifecycles, with specific fluency in Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and production MLOps, alongside cloud data infrastructure.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills; highly comfortable engaging, influencing, and challenging senior and executive leadership.
- Ambiguity Management: A natural capability to thrive within a rapidly changing field, bringing structure, frameworks, and product lifecycle thinking to undefined spaces.
