We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team in Stuart, FL. This role is responsible for translating technical drawings into precise CNC programs, optimizing machining processes, and supporting production from prototype through full‑scale manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze drawings, models, and specifications to develop CNC programs
- Program and optimize 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑axis milling operations (Siemens NX required)
- Recommend tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining strategies
- Support fixture design and revisions
- Provide detailed setup documentation, cutter lists, and operation sheets
- Troubleshoot machining issues and support shop floor teams
- Maintain quality standards and production schedules
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Participate in process development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work with customers and suppliers to resolve design or process issues
Required Qualifications
- Two‑year technical degree
- 2+ years of CNC programming experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Proficiency with Siemens NX and solid CAD modeling
- Strong understanding of machine shop practices
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Ability to work on ITAR/EAR‑regulated programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong GD&T knowledge
- Experience with Vericut or similar simulation software
- 5‑axis milling and superalloy machining experience
- G‑code expertise and post‑processor refinement skills
- Ability to create macros for probing
- Knowledge of titanium, stainless, nickel, and aluminum alloys
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills
