Position Summary
The Vice President of Finance will establish and lead the finance function during a period of significant growth. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and will be responsible for financial operations, reporting, fundraising support, capital planning, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the finance organization from the ground up.
- Implement accounting systems, controls, reporting processes, and compliance procedures.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial planning.
- Support fundraising activities and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and external partners.
- Manage financial aspects of large-scale capital projects and infrastructure investments.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop finance team members.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Progressive finance leadership experience, ideally at the VP, Director, or CFO-track level.
- Experience in technology, digital infrastructure, data centers, energy infrastructure, telecommunications, cryptocurrency, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of capital-intensive businesses and project financing.
- Demonstrated ability to build processes and teams within a growing organization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and banking relationships is highly desirable.

Approximately 25%+ travel may be required within North America and internationally.
