About the Role

Glamnetic is looking for a Lead Copywriter to own the written voice of our brand across every channel we touch. This is a dual role: you'll set the strategic direction for how Glamnetic sounds while also handling the day-to-day copy that drives our business. You'll be the highest-level copy thinker on the team, working directly with a Freelance Copywriter and cross-functionally with growth, creative, and marketing stakeholders to bring the brand to life at every customer touchpoint.

This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of eCommerce & CRM.

This position is full time. We are actively seeking candidates in California & Florida.

What You'll Do

Brand Voice & Strategy

  • Own and evolve the Glamnetic brand voice: define it, document it, and hold the standard across every written channel and contributor
  • Develop high-level messaging strategy for product launches, campaigns, and brand moments
  • Use AI tools to accelerate campaign concepting, messaging exploration, and competitive research; Establish best practices for how the team uses AI in the creative writing process
  • Collaborate with our Freelance Copywriter, maintaining a consistent quality bar across all contributors & channels
  • Partner cross-functionally with eCommerce, design, growth, and product teams to deliver integrated, on-brand work

Day-to-Day Copy

  • Write and edit direct response copy across email, SMS, and push, including promotional campaigns, lifecycle flows, and triggered messages
  • Own web copy: homepage, landing pages, banners, collection pages, and site navigation
  • Develop PDP copy that translates product details into compelling, customer-facing language
  • Write ad copy for paid social, as well as for retention channels such as email, sms, and direct mail
  • Support product packaging copy, naming, retail channel copy, and Amazon storefront and listing content, as well as branded events/activations
  • Use AI tools to draft, pressure-test, and iterate on copy faster, while maintaining the same quality bar as work produced from scratch
  • Proofread and QA all copy assets before they go live

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years in copywriting, brand writing, or content roles, with beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brand experience strongly preferred
  • A portfolio that shows range across direct response, brand campaigns, product copy, and digital
  • Demonstrated experience owning or stewarding a brand voice end-to-end
  • Strong direct response instincts a.k.a. you know how to write copy that converts without sacrificing brand integrity
  • Experience working with freelance contributors
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve brainstorming, research, and writing workflows, with a genuine point of view on how to use them well
  • Excellent editing skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced DTC environment

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices for web and PDP copy
  • Background in product or campaign naming
  • Bonus: Fluency in Spanish, with the ability to write and adapt copy natively across English and Spanish channels
