Position Summary
The coding manager will oversee the Post Acute Care service line and the the post-acute coding methodology and serves as the senior subject matter expert (SME) for Skilled Nursing Facility (PDPM), Home Health (PDGM), and Long-Term Care (LTC).
This role bridges sales and delivery to create compliant, and builds a compliant coding team that meets the clients requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
Think of this role like a Master Housing Contractor for post-acute coding.
Just as a master contractor analyzes client needs, customizes the design, draws precise blueprints, coordinates with other contractors on the building team, then builds and refines the final structure — this position owns the full coding methodology from blueprint to delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimal reimbursement. It will be customized for each of our clients and their needs. This role will not have direct reports for the foreseeable future.

Key Candidate Profile
We need a dual-skilled professional — who is willing to work with other department team members to showcase our services to existing clients/new clients ( this is not a sales role). You will work directly with the assigned account representative, speak with current clients to identify opportunities within and with potential clients to showcase your knowledge on what Omega can do for them, and have the ability to build and manage the entire department (along side other supporting team members) from the ground up (processes, EMR optimization, audit framework, and compliance).
This is a new service line for Omega Healthcare and we are looking for those who want to grow ( ground floor team ) and will have extensive resources at their disposal. If you have ever helped build a service line/department from the foundation, all the way to the finish, then this role may be for you. This is not a sales role, but we do need the right people who can speak/interact with client to help build the coding team to their requests/specifications.
