The RD Medical Manager will play a key role in developing and executing the medical and scientific strategy for the Turkey RD portfolio/therapeutic area. This role requires close partnership with other functional franchise leads, ensuring alignment with the overall franchise strategy.

As Rare Diseases Medical Manager within our Eurasia Rare Diseases Medical Team, you'll lead the medical and scientific strategy for Sanofi's Turkey rare diseases portfolio — shaping clinical practice, driving evidence generation, and connecting global ambition to local impact. Ready to get started?
Based in Istanbul and embedded in a high-performing, diverse team of medical leaders, you will translate global strategies into locally relevant plans for Turkey's unique healthcare landscape. Working closely with cross-functional partners — from market access to clinical — you'll be a trusted scientific voice for both internal stakeholders and the external medical community, with a direct impact on patients living with rare diseases.
Main Responsibilities
About You
Education Background: You are a Medical Doctor or Pharmacist with at least one year of pharmaceutical industry experience in medical affairs (field or office-based).
Pharmaceutical Industry Understanding: You bring strong scientific acumen and the ability to rapidly absorb and apply new data in evolving therapy areas. Experience in rare diseases is a real advantage. You have a solid grasp of clinical development, real-world evidence methodologies, and data gap analysis, as well as a good understanding of market access and reimbursement processes. You have a proven track record in product launches and lifecycle management, and you understand how healthcare systems evolve and what that means for new product introduction.
Customer knowledge: You're confident engaging with key opinion leader networks and healthcare stakeholder communities, and you know how to leverage omnichannel tools for effective scientific engagement.
Language Proficiency: You are fluent in both English and Turkish — written and oral
Comfortable travelling up to 20–30% of the time.
