Financial Planner, Bell Potter Private Wealth

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join the Bell Potter Private Wealth team’s expansion into Sydney. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, non-investment financial advice to stockbrokers, private wealth advisers and their clients.

Based in our Sydney office, you will operate as the sole non-investment client adviser, acting as both a technical specialist and product champion. While working autonomously, you will be supported by a Melbourne-based paraplanning and administrative team, enabling you to focus on delivering expert advice and building strong client relationships.

This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a newly established role, using your initiative and drive to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial advice aligned to client goals
• Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with both investment advisers and their clients
• Identify opportunities to deepen client engagement and outcomes
• Work closely with local and inter-state based advisers, paraplanners and client services team
• Maintain the highest standards of compliance and professionalism
• Commit to continuous self-improvement by expanding your technical expertise and fostering strong professional relationships.

Requirements

• Experience as a Financial Planner within a professional advice firm
• Relevant business or commerce tertiary degree
• Strong technical and strategic advice capability
• Self-starter with ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• SMSF experience.
