Job Purpose (State in one sentence the overall objective of the role)

  • This position is expected as operations manager to manage the contract manufacture sites in Shanghai to cover production, supply chain and components localization fields.
  • This position is expected as liaise person with global, China business, suppliers and our customer to lead innovation plan, step up project system and lead strategy projects in supply chain functions.
  • This position will lead to distribution planning function to manage the stock transformation orders between DCs with inventory optimization, manage the bundle process and manage the supply chain components purchase with inventory optimization
  • This position is also expected as engine to enhance the supply chain foundation including KPI, SOP, master data, supplier contracts, supply chain website and conduct internal audit.

Major Accountabilities (Describe the 5-7 main results of the role to be achieved)

  • Operations on contract manufacture sites
  • Manage the production field to ensure all sites can be past the audit by NMPA and maintain the daily operations to meet GMP requirement.
  • Manage site supply chain from demand to supply with components inventory management to ensure the raw materials & system readiness for production.
  • Work together with procurement, QA and R&D to deploy the components localization strategy
  • Participate in the supplier audit with QA.
  • Project Management
  • Support supply chain head to define and develop the rolling strategy project plan for future 3-year with the overall deployment plan from global supply chain and the demand from China business.
  • Leading key strategy projects through liaising with global resource, IT experts, related suppliers, China cross functions and our customers. It is end to end from design, configuration, testing, go live and hyper care until handing over to daily operation team.
  • Lead the project system, committees & monthly project meeting to collect, monitoring all of department projects can be implemented on time.
  • Distribution planning
  • Manager the stock transfer orders between DCs to ensure a stable supply with inventory health.
  • Work out the weekly bundle production plan to ensure stable supply.
  • Timely purchase all kinds of logistics components to ensure the components readiness for redressing operation.
  • Enhance supply chain foundation include but not limited
  • lead monthly KPI meetings to tracking and analyzing the performance dashboard monthly to drive continuous improvement in the whole China supply chain fields
  • Upgrade and manage the document center for SOP, WI, master data, con-tract and certificates.
  • Manage supply chain website & newsletter to standardize & share the supply chain practices.
  • Lead the internal audits within supply chain functions to ensure the bottle line instructions can be implemented.

KPIs include:

  • CMO on OTIF, MOC & Zero safety/quality case.
  • Project on time delivery rate with project saving & benefits target Vs plan
  • Readiness rate for STO, bundle and components
  • 100% of document completion & accuracy.

Ideal Background (State the preferred education and experience level)

Education (Minimum/Preferred):

  • B.A. degree or above without major requirement.
  • The certificate of GMP, 6-sigmas or lean will be plus.

Languages:

  • Fluent English communication skill on verbal and written.

Experience (Minimum/Preferred):

  • Had ever working experience in site environment is mandatory. It is plus if had ever worked in GMP site.
  • Above 10 years supply chain experience is mandatory, which can be mainly focus on one/two fields, e.g. logistics, planning or customer operation. It will be perfect if have the experience for logistics manager.
  • Project management experiences are plus. It will be plus if have PMP/6-sigmas certificate or experience for leading large projects
  • Working experience in MNC is mandatory.
