The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional commercial technology leader to help build a world-class, AI-first technology organisation.

Working closely with the CEO, Product, Customer, and Executive teams, you will lead their AI transformation, elevate engineering standards, and scale one of Australia's largest healthcare marketplaces, serving millions of patients.

We're looking for a technically strong leader with marketplace and consumer-scale experience, a passion for great products, and the ability to build high-performing teams.

What You'll Do

AI Transformation

• Build and execute the AI roadmap.
• Embed AI across product, engineering, operations, and customer experiences.
• Drive AI adoption to improve customer outcomes, productivity, and business performance.

Engineering Excellence

• Raise technical standards, engineering quality, and delivery capability.
• Improve performance management, accountability, and execution.
• Increase engineering velocity while maintaining reliability and quality.

Organisation Design

• Review team structure, capability gaps, and leadership requirements.
• Restructure and level the engineering organisation where required.
• Build leadership capability, succession plans, and career pathways.

Platform, Security & Reliability

• Modernise architecture, infrastructure, security, and operational practices.
• Improve scalability, reliability, performance, and resilience.
• Strengthen data, platform, and security capabilities.

Executive Leadership

• Partner closely with Product, Customer, Commercial, and Executive teams.
• Help shape company strategy and long-term technology direction.
• Build and lead a world-class technology leadership team.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading engineering organisations in high-growth technology businesses.
• Strong technical depth across software engineering, cloud infrastructure, platform architecture, data, and AI.
• Experience operating consumer-scale or marketplace platforms serving large user bases.
• Demonstrated success leading technology transformation and organisational change.
• Strong commercial acumen and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for building high-performing teams and developing leaders.
• Customer-first mindset with a strong focus on culture and outcomes.
