Weβre looking for a Human Resources Assistant II to join a leading client on a 3-month contract assignment. Qualified candidates should have experience supporting employee onboarding, credentialing, compliance tracking, HR administration, and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.
Position β Human Resources Assistant II
Location β Remote (Must work EST hours)
Duration β 3-Month Contract
π΅ Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
What you'll do
β’ Provide administrative support across a variety of Human Resources functions, including hiring, retention, employee relations, performance management, and compliance activities
β’ Coordinate and manage post-offer employment processes, including collecting and validating candidate information and required hiring documentation
β’ Conduct employment verifications, reference checks, background screenings, and professional license verifications in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
β’ Support pre-employment screening activities and ensure all requirements are completed accurately and within established timelines
β’ Track and maintain documentation related to state licensure, certifications, credentialing, and compliance requirements
β’ Administer onboarding processes, including launching onboarding workflows, tracking completion of required paperwork, and ensuring employee records are complete and compliant
β’ Maintain employee files and documentation to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
β’ Gather, review, and audit documents required for clinical staff credentialing and ongoing compliance activities
β’ Perform HRIS data entry and system administration within ADP Enterprise, ensuring employee records remain accurate and current
β’ Conduct new hire orientation sessions and support training initiatives as needed
β’ Assist operational leaders with tracking post-hire requirements, including training completion, license renewals, background checks, and performance evaluations
β’ Train supervisors on employee evaluation processes and performance management procedures
β’ Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding leave processes through Sedgwick and support leave administration activities
β’ Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and organizational procedures
What you will have
β’ Experience supporting Human Resources operations, onboarding, credentialing, compliance, or employee relations functions
β’ Experience conducting background checks, employment verifications, and onboarding administration
β’ Knowledge of HR compliance requirements and employee record management practices
β’ Experience working with HRIS systems, preferably ADP Enterprise
β’ Familiarity with leave administration processes and platforms such as Sedgwick
β’ Strong organizational and time management skills
β’ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
β’ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, managers, and HR teams
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience supporting healthcare, clinical, or credentialing-related HR functions
β’ Experience with employee onboarding and compliance tracking programs
β’ Knowledge of licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements
β’ Experience conducting employee orientations and training sessions
