We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in chemical/process engineering and industrial safety.
This role focuses on managing projects in high-risk environments, including explosion-prone systems, hazardous substances, and complex industrial equipment. You will ensure technical excellence, safety compliance, and successful project delivery across multidisciplinary teams
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage technical projects in industrial environments (chemical, oil & gas, process industry)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, safety, and operations
- Ensure compliance with process safety regulations and standards (e.g., ATEX, hazardous/explosion-prone areas)
- Perform and review technical calculations and engineering documentation
- Conduct and/or support risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, etc.)
- Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of process systems and industrial equipment
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Ensure safe handling and management of hazardous substances and gas systems
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in industrial envir onments:
- Chemical industry, oil &; gas, energy, or process industries
- Strong expertise in:
- Process safety and explosion risks (ATEX or equivalent)
- Handling of hazardous substances and gas systems
- Experience in technical project management
- Solid skills in engineering calculations and ability to read/interpret P&IDs
- Hands-on experience with risk assessment methodologies (HAZOP, PSM,etc.)
- Strong analytical mindset, structured and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- German: fluent (mandatory)
