Description
IAM Application Engineer (Entra ID / SSO / SAML / OpenID / DNS)
- Hybrid Working: 3 days per week in London office.
- Inside IR35 Contract
The Identity Application Engineer will support application migration and remediation activities where identity, directory, DNS, or single sign on (SSO) changes impact application access. The role focuses on ensuring applications remain accessible, correctly permissioned, and aligned to new domain and identity standards throughout the merger programme.
Required Technical Skills
- Enterprise applications integrated with Active Directory or Entra ID
- Application authentication and access control models
- Application re permissioning following identity, domain, or directory changes
- SSO enabled applications using SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect
- DNS concepts including application related DNS records and dependencies
- Active Directory users, groups, and permissions
- Troubleshooting application authentication, access, and connectivity issues
Required Experience
- Experience supporting application migrations or transition programmes
- Proven experience re-permissioning applications following identity or directory changes
- Experience supporting applications impacted by DNS, domain, or SSO changes
- Experience working with application owners and technical delivery teams
- Experience providing hands on support during testing and production change events
- Experience working in large enterprise IT environments
