1. PURPOSE
This role is positioned as a system-level integrator and architect, responsible for ensuring end-to-end coherence, scalability, and performance of complex MRI platforms.
The role bridges deep MRI domain expertise with system architecture capability, driving modular, reusable, and future-proof system solutions, aligned with MR reference architectures, while contributing to regulatory strategy and business objectives.
This position plays a critical role in shaping the technology direction, platform strategy, and system-level performance of next-generation MRI products.
- Principal Accountabilities
System Architecture Design & Governance
- Define and drive system-level architecture, including structure, interfaces, and design rules, ensuring alignment with enterprise and domain architectures and delivering scalable and compliant MRI solutions.
Cross-domain System Integration
- Drive integration across RF, Gradient, Magnet, control systems, sequence, and reconstruction domains.
- Ensure system-level alignment of interfaces, timing, data flow, and performance.
- Lead resolution of cross-domain integration challenges.
Technical Decision & Trade-off Management
- Drive system-level technical decisions and trade-offs across performance, cost, risk, and regulatory constraints to achieve optimal system balance.
System Problem Solving
- Lead system-level debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution during integration, verification, and validation phases.
Platform & Architecture Evolution
- Drive modular architecture and platform strategy to support reuse, scalability, and long-term evolution across product generations.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Influence
- Collaborate across R&D, system engineering, and regulatory teams, driving alignment on architecture and system-level decisions.
