Role Overview

The Senior Marketing Analyst is responsible for analysing business performance and audience engagement across w.media's events, media platforms, and marketing activities. The role provides management with timely insights and reporting that support revenue growth, audience development, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance Analysis

  • Track and analyse sales performance across events, sponsorships, delegate registrations, media products, and other revenue streams.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports highlighting revenue trends, pipeline performance, conversion rates, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities, risks, and areas of underperformance through data analysis and reporting.
  • Monitor sales activities and CRM data to ensure reporting accuracy and visibility across the business.
  • Support management with performance dashboards and executive-level reporting.

Audience Data Analysis

  • Analyse audience growth, registration trends, attendance patterns, engagement metrics, and demographic data across events and digital platforms.
  • Produce audience intelligence reports to support event production, marketing campaigns, sponsorship sales, and business development activities.
  • Segment and profile audience groups to identify new market opportunities and improve targeting strategies.
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and audience acquisition initiatives.
  • Track audience retention, participation rates, and engagement across multiple event and media products.

Market Research & Insights

  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the digital infrastructure sector.
  • Reporting & Data Management
  • Maintain reporting systems, dashboards, and databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Consolidate data from CRM, registration platforms, marketing systems, and other business tools.
  • Prepare management reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting functions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, marketing automation systems, and event registration platforms is advantageous.
  • Ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
