Microbiology has an outstanding opportunity for a Research Scientist/Engineer 1 to join their team
About This Opportunity
Reporting to Assistant Professor, the Research Scientist/Engineer 1 will perform research that is focused on understanding antiviral systems as well as antiviral therapeutics and prophylactics. This RSE1 position is research-focused and the expectation is that the candidate will be able to work under limited supervision to complete assigned research tasks and projects, demonstrating the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Research Lab Management 25%:
Lab Bench Scientist 70%
Oversight and training of junior lab personnel (5%):
