We are looking for an Admissions Data & Digital Specialist to join the Admissions Office within the Students Outreach & Support Department.

Working within the Undergraduate Admissions Office, the candidate will play a role that combines business process understanding with analytical and digital expertise. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of Admissions processes through data-driven decision-making and continuous innovation.

Starting from a thorough understanding of the admissions process and its alignment with the University's regulations and strategic objectives, the candidate will support the development of data-driven practices, including the design and implementation of reporting tools and dashboards and will also contribute to the evolution of digital platforms and systems supporting Admissions activities, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

The role integrates three complementary areas of responsibility:

  • Admissions Process Management
  • Support the management of admissions processes, from application collection and evaluation through to admission decisions and enrollment.
  • Contribute to the operational management of the different phases of the admissions cycle, working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor process performance and ensure the quality, consistency, and compliance of admissions activities.
  • Data Management & Analysis
  • Collect, integrate, and manage data from multiple systems and sources.
  • Perform data cleaning, maintenance, and database structuring activities, ensuring data quality, completeness, and reliability.
  • Analyze data to support process monitoring and performance assessment.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to facilitate data interpretation and decision-making.
  • Generate actionable insights to support the continuous improvement of Admissions processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Digital Process & Platform Management
  • Contribute to the development, enhancement, and management of digital platforms and tools supporting Admissions processes.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements for system improvements and digital initiatives.
  • Coordinate with colleagues and project teams involved in process optimization and digital transformation projects.
  • Monitor the effectiveness and proper functioning of digital platforms, supporting implementation, testing, and continuous evolution activities.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in analytical roles/data analysis roles within structured, data-driven organizations.
  • Interest and motivation to develop expertise in higher education processes; previous experience in the higher education sector will be considered a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL/MySQL and Python.
  • Strong ability to prepare, manage and analyze datasets, with particular attention to data quality and consistency.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively on cross-functional projects.
  • Strong digital approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English.
  • International study or work experience abroad (minimum six months).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, flexible and solution-oriented approach to work.

We offer a gross annual salary starting from € 33.000,00.

The final compensation package will be defined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall professional background, in line with the University’s fair, transparent, and non-discriminatory compensation principles.
