Role Description This is a full-time Medical Device Sales Representative role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. The role involves managing and growing sales of Biolitec’s medical laser and fiber technologies within assigned territories and accounts. Responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, visiting hospitals and clinics, and building strong relationships with surgeons, physicians, and operating room staff. The representative will provide product demonstrations, support case usage in the operating room, and deliver education on clinical applications and best practices. Day-to-day duties also include preparing sales proposals, managing the sales pipeline and CRM records, attending industry events or workshops, and collaborating with internal teams to address customer needs and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Medical Sales and general Sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in healthcare or medical device environments.
  • Knowledge or experience in Orthopedics, Medicine, or related clinical specialties, with the ability to understand medical terminology and procedural workflows.
  • Comfort working in or around the Operating Room environment, including supporting clinicians during procedures involving medical devices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Self-motivated and organized, capable of managing a field-based schedule, travel, and remote work responsibilities effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or similar) or equivalent practical experience in medical device sales.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software, and a willingness to learn new technologies and product lines quickly.
  • Ability to travel within WP. Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas as required for customer visits, training, and events.
