Primary Responsibilities

He/she will manage the following:

  • Responsible to effectively manage large/complex client accounts to achieve client objectives or results and able to have an overall strategic planning on the whole-year communications.
  • Understand the main trends in the client industry and relate them to the PR strategy, use knowledge to advance clients' program and build thought leadership.
  • Ensure high-quality service/deliverables, maintain positive client relationship, and expanding business offering with reasonable profitability.
  • Make realistic and sound recommendations that takes into consideration short and long-term perspectives, and client's constraints.
  • Supervise the team performance, coach and tutor members to help them to learn and grow, identify team members with different levels of performance & potentials and manage them that will result in an effective retention.
  • Expand and own network of senior journalist and influencer relationships and introduce them to clients when needed.
  • Able to write pitch proposal of such quality that no further revision and polishing is needed.
  • Lead the team to provide client service: attend meetings, meet deadlines, troubleshoot problems, content development and media & KOL communications.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and implement public engagement and social media tools.

Skills and qualification required

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, over 6-8 years related corporate comm experience.
  • At least 6 years working experience in public relations agency or related, more than 5 years’ experience in managing teamwork.
  • Have big picture and strategic thinking and planning skill. Have capabilities to understand the key concept of a brand and how to develop creative ideas based on the concept or key message and able to persuade the client.
  • Strong oral and written English business communication skills and can smoothly communicate with global client and colleagues in different markets.
  • Team management skill; have passion and sense to coach and grow the members.
  • Best have experience in cross-office cooperation, familiar with the regional status of market.
  • Strong ability to withstand pressure and accept challenging tasks.
