For a major international railway infrastructure project, we are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager OCS (m/f/d) with extensive hands-on experience in High-Speed Rail Overhead Contact Systems (OCS).
This is a critical site leadership role requiring both strong people management skills and deep technical expertise in the construction and installation of High-Speed OCS systems.
IMPORTANT: This is not a general railway electrification position. Candidates must demonstrate substantial experience with High-Speed Rail OCS projects and must have personally supervised, managed, or delivered OCS installation works on operating speeds exceeding 200 km/h.

Project Environment
You will join a large international High-Speed Rail project involving multiple international contractors, local subcontractors, engineering teams, and client representatives.
The successful candidate will act as the primary OCS authority on site and will be responsible for ensuring that installation activities are executed according to project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and construction schedules.
This role requires a professional who can manage subcontractors effectively while possessing the technical expertise required to challenge installation methods, resolve technical issues, and lead OCS construction activities in the field.
Responsibilities
- Overall site management of High-Speed OCS installation activities
- Technical leadership of OCS construction works across multiple work fronts
- Lead and manage on-site OCS installation and construction activities in line with design, safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Plan and supervise daily site activities, ensuring accurate implementation of drawings and specifications.
- Daily supervision of subcontractors and installation teams
- Monitoring construction quality, safety, progress, and compliance
- Providing technical guidance on OCS installation methods and best practices
Mandatory Requirements
- Extensive experience as Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Senior Supervisor within railway electrification projects
- Minimum 3 years of dedicated High-Speed Rail OCS experience
- Proven hands-on experience with High-Speed Rail Overhead Contact Systems (OCS)
- Demonstrated experience supervising OCS installation works on railway lines operating above 200 km/h
- Strong technical understanding of catenary systems, contact wire systems, registration, tensioning, and OCS construction methodologies
- Strong leadership and contractor management skills
- Ability to operate in an international and multicultural construction environment
- Fluent English communication skills
Highly Relevant Project Experience
Candidates should clearly demonstrate experience on one or more of the following High-Speed
Rail projects or comparable systems:
- Spain (AVE Network)
- Netherlands (HSL-Zuid)
- Germany (e.g. Berlin–Munich, Nuremberg–Erfurt, Cologne–Frankfurt)
- France (TGV Network)
- Turkey (YHT Projects)
- Morocco (Al Boraq)
- Saudi Arabia High-Speed Rail Projects
- Other High-Speed Rail OCS projects exceeding 200 km/h

- General construction management without OCS expertise
