Key Responsibilities

Student Counseling & Support

  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students' academic, personal, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Deliver career guidance and advising services to students and alumni.
  • Respond to student concerns and provide appropriate referrals to internal and external support services when required.
  • Support students with special needs or medical conditions and collaborate with faculty and relevant departments to facilitate appropriate accommodations.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations.

Student Development & Engagement

  • Design and deliver workshops on mental health, well-being, life skills, and career development.
  • Develop and implement an annual activity plan covering student wellness, skills development, and career readiness initiatives.
  • Support student engagement programs, extracurricular activities, and community events.
  • Manage counseling and career development content across Student Affairs communication channels and social media platforms.

Student Leadership & Career Development

  • Support and supervise student leadership bodies, including the Student Council and student committees.
  • Deliver leadership and skills-development training for student representatives.
  • Promote career readiness through workshops, awareness campaigns, and developmental initiatives.

Collaboration & Administration

  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and retention.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records, reports, and case documentation.
  • Monitor student support activities and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations related to counseling, student development, and career services.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, professional ethical standards, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience in counseling, student affairs, career services, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Experience in workshop facilitation, student engagement, and event coordination is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic language skills.
