Key Responsibilities
Student Counseling & Support
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students' academic, personal, social, and emotional well-being.
- Deliver career guidance and advising services to students and alumni.
- Respond to student concerns and provide appropriate referrals to internal and external support services when required.
- Support students with special needs or medical conditions and collaborate with faculty and relevant departments to facilitate appropriate accommodations.
- Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations.
Student Development & Engagement
- Design and deliver workshops on mental health, well-being, life skills, and career development.
- Develop and implement an annual activity plan covering student wellness, skills development, and career readiness initiatives.
- Support student engagement programs, extracurricular activities, and community events.
- Manage counseling and career development content across Student Affairs communication channels and social media platforms.
Student Leadership & Career Development
- Support and supervise student leadership bodies, including the Student Council and student committees.
- Deliver leadership and skills-development training for student representatives.
- Promote career readiness through workshops, awareness campaigns, and developmental initiatives.
Collaboration & Administration
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and retention.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records, reports, and case documentation.
- Monitor student support activities and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports and recommendations related to counseling, student development, and career services.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, professional ethical standards, and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, Education, or a related field.
- Experience in counseling, student affairs, career services, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Experience in workshop facilitation, student engagement, and event coordination is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Arabic language skills.
