Our client, a leading international B2B distribution and services company with a strong global presence and an extensive branch network across multiple countries, is looking for a Country Head of Retail & Branch Operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the company's branch operations in Türkiye, ensuring sustainable growth, operational excellence and a superior customer experience.

Role Profile

  • Lead the strategic management and continuous development of the branch network in Türkiye.
  • Take full responsibility for customer experience, operational performance and profitability across all locations.
  • Identify and implement growth opportunities in line with corporate strategy.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, operational standards and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze market developments and industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Drive branch expansion, optimization, and productivity improvement projects.
  • Lead recruitment, talent development, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies quality standards, and operational procedures.
  • Develop and manage budgets, business plans, and performance targets.
  • Collaborate closely with local and international stakeholders to support the company's long-term growth objectives.
  • Report directly to the senior leadership team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Retail Management, or a related field. Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in multi-site operations, retail, branch management, or a comparable business environment.
  • Proven track record in managing geographically dispersed teams and driving business growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with operational excellence capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Fluent English is required; additional foreign language skills are considered an advantage.
  • Based in Istanbul and willing to travel extensively within Türkiye.
