Description

We’re hiring a Marketing & Business Development Manager to support our Financial Institutions Sector (FIS) and Insurance Sector, with a strong focus on Fintech, Insurtech, and Digital Assets & Blockchain (DAB). This role also supports our Financial Services Group, which advises on financial services regulation across the U.S.

This is a high‑visibility position working closely with partners, lawyers, and global M&BD colleagues to drive strategic growth initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and elevate our market presence.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and execute business development programs, targeting initiatives, and cross‑selling opportunities

• Track industry trends to identify new business opportunities

• Support RFPs, pitches, and client presentations, including coaching pitch teams

• Lead integrated marketing campaigns and flagship events for FIS and Insurance clients

• Build and manage targeted client lists; track ROI and refine event strategy

• Strengthen relationships with industry associations and activate sponsorships

• Develop annual marketing and BD plans and budgets for the Americas

• Lead the U.S. investment bank client sector program and manage a key FIS client account

• Support lateral partner integration and create regional sector materials

• Contribute to firmwide Global Citizenship initiatives and broader M&BD projects

What you bring:

• Deep knowledge of the New York and Washington, D.C. business and legal markets

• Strong understanding of the Financial Institutions and Insurance sectors

• Exceptional writing, communication, and client‑facing skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple projects under pressure

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• 7+ years of marketing and business development experience (professional services preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business development, or related field preferred

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with flexibility for additional hours. This position follows a hybrid schedule, with four days in the office and one day working remotely from home.
