Job Summar
yThe Senior IBM ODM Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, and day-to-day management of the IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) platform. This role ensures the high availability of Rule Execution Servers (RES) and Decision Center environments, manages security and user access, and oversees the deployment lifecycle of decision services across production and non-production environments
.
Key Responsibiliti
- esPlatform Infrastructure: Install, configure, and maintain IBM ODM (v8.10/8.11+) on environments such as IBM WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, or Kubernetes/OpenShif
- t.Deployment Management: Oversee the deployment of RuleApps and managed Java archives (XOMs) to Rule Execution Servers; manage versioning and snapshots within Decision Cente
- r.Security & Governance: Configure and manage user authentication (LDAP/OIDC) and role-based access control (RBAC) for both the Business Console and Enterprise Consol
- e.Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize rule execution performance; configure Rule Execution Server properties and connection pools for high-volume decisionin
- g.Database Administration: Manage the Decision Center and RES schemas, including database archival, cleanup, and synchronization task
- s.Monitoring & Auditing: Configure and maintain the Decision Warehouse for rule execution auditing; monitor system health using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, or IBM Cloud Pak loggin
- g.Automation: Develop Ant or Maven scripts for automated deployment, synchronization, and platform management task
