In parallel, we provide leading engineering services in FPGA system design, and in development of high-speed hardware, FPGA firmware and embedded software.

To strengthen our dynamic team in Zurich, we are looking for a new:

Customer Solution Lead

Job responsibilities:

  • Own and drive customer engagements end-to-end, from initial discussions through proposal, execution, and delivery
  • Act as the central point of contact for customers, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and internal delivery teams
  • Lead solution definition and offer creation, including scope clarification, effort estimation, pricing input, and timeline development
  • Manage customer-specific development projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, budget, and quality targets
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, software) to deliver integrated system solutions
  • Support business development activities, including opportunity identification, qualification, and shaping of customer requirements
  • Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and technical discussions to translate needs into structured, deliverable solutions
  • Balance technical feasibility, delivery risk, and commercial considerations when defining solutions
  • Drive proposal development (RFI/RFP responses) and contribute to contract discussions
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted partner throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Identify opportunities for solution reuse, standardization, and scalable offerings
  • Manage risks, escalations, and stakeholder communication effectively across both customer and internal teams

Job requirements:

Project & Delivery Management

  • Proven experience managing projects or programs, ideally in electronics, embedded systems, or FPGA-based environments
  • Strong planning, execution, and risk management capabilities
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and delivering customer-facing projects
  • Familiarity with structured project methodologies

Customer & Commercial Acumen

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, such as solution lead, technical project manager, pre-sales engineer or similar
  • Strong ability to shape customer requirements into clear, structured proposals and deliverables
  • Experience contributing to or owning offer creation, cost estimation, and scope definition
  • Good understanding of commercial drivers, including pricing, margins, and delivery trade-offs

Technical Foundation

  • Broad technical understanding of FPGA/SoC systems, embedded platforms, or electronic system design
  • Ability to engage effectively with engineering teams without needing to be a deep technical specialist
  • Understanding of system-level design, integration, and development lifecycles
  • Exposure to industries such as industrial, aerospace/defence, or high-performance systems is beneficial

Personal & Leadership Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior customer representatives
  • Ability to operate effectively in a hybrid role combining project leadership, technical coordination, and business development
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, customer-driven environment

General Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in roles combining project delivery, customer interaction, and technical coordination
  • Fluent in English
