To strengthen the team of Field Service Technicians in France, Krones FBL is currently looking for (m/f/x):
FIELD SERVICE MECHANICS – FILLING MACHINE
Assignments throughout France, occasionally Belgium and other EU countries
Your role:
- As a Field Service Technician specialised in filling machines, you are responsible for the commissioning, repair and maintenance of Krones machines at customer sites. These filling machines are large-scale, high-speed and technologically advanced installations that require strong technical expertise, precision and the ability to collaborate efficiently with operators and fellow technicians on the shop floor.
- Through an intensive training programme (on-the-job and at the Krones Academy in Germany), you will gain in-depth knowledge of our machine park and the different types of installations. You will be part of a team responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and modifications to machines on production lines in the agro-food industry, mainly in France and neighbouring countries.
- You carry out independently technical interventions, ranging from replacing parts to machine adjustments and troubleshooting. Where required, you coordinate the support of operators or fellow technicians on larger installations. You carefully document your interventions and provide technical recommendations or short training sessions to customers on the use of the installations.
- As a Field Service Technician, you are on the road on a daily basis. The role involves frequent travel across France, typically from Monday to Friday, with regular overnight stays. You may also be involved in projects in Belgium and occasionally in other European countries.
- You act as an ambassador of Krones, standing out through your technical expertise, professional attitude and solution-oriented mindset.
Your profile:
- You hold a technical diploma (Bac Professionnel, BTS or equivalent) in mechanics, electromechanics.
- You have experience in an industrial environment and a solid technical background (mechanical and/or electromechanical). Experience with complex production lines or filling equipment is a strong asset.
- You are fluent in French and have a good command of English (both are mandatory). knowledge of German is a plus.
- You have all necessary documents to legally work in France and do not need sponsorship.
- You are technically curious and enjoy gaining in-depth knowledge of complex production lines and machines.
- You are stress-resistant, work in a structured manner and think along with the customer.
- You are able to work independently, but also know how to lead or coordinate a team on larger installations.
- Last but not least… you are truly passionate about technology and want to turn that passion into your profession.
- You're open to work on different sites and don't have any problems with staying over nights during the week (and sometimes even weekends) and/or driving a lot. A 9-to-5 job would definitely not suit you....
