Position Summary
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Jewelry Design Intern to support our product development and design team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the jewelry design process, from concept development and trend research to sample organization and collection preparation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct trend research across fashion, jewelry, color, materials, and consumer markets.
- Assist with seasonal inspiration boards, mood boards, and trend presentations.
- Support the design team with sketching concepts and creating product specifications.
- Help organize and maintain sample libraries, archives, and development materials.
- Prepare samples for internal reviews, sales meetings, and market appointments.
- Assist with collection line sheets and product presentation materials.
- Support track sample requests, revisions, and approvals throughout development.
- Assist with product photography preparation and sample styling.
- Support the team with administrative and organizational tasks related to product development.
- Participate in design meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree or a recent graduate in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Jewelry Design, Fashion Merchandising, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Strong interest in fashion accessories, jewelry, and trend forecasting.
- Creative eye with a strong understanding of color, style, and design aesthetics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
