About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and reliable Project & Operations Manager to work directly with the founder across multiple startup, software, fintech, marketplace, and technology projects.

You will be responsible for bringing structure, accountability, and operational discipline across several active projects and teams. Your role will be to coordinate people, track progress, follow up relentlessly, identify blockers, and ensure that things move forward without constant supervision.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, anticipates problems, communicates clearly, and enjoys creating order in fast-moving environments.

What You Will Do

Project Management

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Track progress, priorities, deadlines, and risks
  • Maintain project boards and documentation
  • Organize tasks, priorities, and follow-ups
  • Prepare weekly project updates and status reports
  • Identify blockers and propose solutions
  • Ensure projects move forward and deadlines are met
  • Escalate issues when necessary

Team Coordination

  • Coordinate a team of approximately 5+ people across multiple projects
  • Work closely with developers, project managers, support specialists, consultants, freelancers, and external partners
  • Follow up on commitments and outstanding tasks
  • Ensure accountability across the team
  • Schedule and organize meetings when required
  • Keep project documentation and records organized

Founder Support

  • Act as the operational point of contact for the founder
  • Help organize priorities and action items
  • Reduce operational noise and information overload
  • Anticipate issues before they become problems
  • Prepare summaries, reports, recommendations, and decision-making materials
  • Ensure important follow-ups are completed and not forgotten

Operations

  • Coordinate external suppliers, vendors, and service providers
  • Work with lawyers, accountants, banks, payment providers, and external partners
  • Follow up on documentation, applications, onboarding processes, and compliance-related tasks
  • Support fintech, payments, software, marketplace, and technology projects
  • Maintain operational records and business documentation

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in Project Management, Operations, Startup Operations, Founder Associate, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working with software development teams
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Familiarity with Kanban, Scrum, Agile, or similar methodologies
  • Experience using tools such as Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Jira, or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and an ownership mindset
  • Comfortable following up repeatedly until things get done
  • Ability to stay organized while handling multiple priorities

Nice to Have

  • Experience with fintech, payments, SaaS, marketplaces, or technology startups
  • Experience working with remote international teams
  • Understanding of payment systems and financial infrastructure
  • Experience coordinating vendors and external partners
  • Experience supporting founders or startup leadership teams

What Success Looks Like

After 60 days:

  • All projects are structured, organized, and actively tracked
  • Project boards are consistently maintained and up to date
  • Weekly reporting is running smoothly
  • Team members are accountable for deadlines and deliverables
  • Vendors and external partners are coordinated effectively
  • No important follow-ups are missed
  • Founder communication is structured and efficient
  • Problems are identified early and solved proactively
  • Projects continue moving forward without constant founder intervention

Recruitment Process
