Role Description The Sourcing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul Area. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to support production and indirect purchasing needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and cost analysis, supporting RFQ/RFP processes, and participating in contract negotiation to secure favorable terms and quality standards. The Sourcing Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, finance, and quality to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and product timelines. The role also includes monitoring supplier performance, resolving supply issues, maintaining accurate procurement data, and supporting continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate supplier performance, and support cost and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and to present sourcing recommendations clearly.
  • Experience with contract negotiation, including pricing, terms, and service levels, to secure competitive and compliant agreements.
  • Background in recruiting and vendor selection, with the ability to identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers as needed.
  • Hands-on procurement experience, including purchase order management, RFQ/RFP processes, and basic understanding of supply chain principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP or procurement systems; familiarity with data reporting and tracking tools.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul Area, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, powersports, or related industries is preferred but not required.
