Experience Range
- 5–8+ years QA experience
- Majority in manual functional testing
- Agile/Scrum delivery teams
Required Tooling
- Azure DevOps (test cases + defects)
- SQL (Oracle or SQL Server)
- API testing (Postman preferred)
- Web + mobile app testing
- CI/CD exposure (Jenkins a plus)
Key Experience
- A senior‑level individual contributor who can lead by influence with 5–8+ years of hands‑on QA execution (not managerial only), with manual testing as the core strength.
- Must have real sprint cadence experience, not just “worked in Agile environments.”
- Hands‑on Azure DevOps test management experience — not just Jira familiarity.
- Backend Data Validation - must be comfortable writing basic–intermediate SQL (DDL/DML) to validate application data.
- UAT Ownership & Stakeholder Engagement - creates UAT test plans and cases, facilitates UAT with business users, communicates defects, risks, and progress clearly, and produces burn‑down charts, defect reports, and test summaries (own UAT, not just participate)
Methodologies
- Agile / Scrum (required)
- SAFe exposure (nice to have)
- Waterfall background acceptable but Agile must be recent
Soft Skills
- Strong communication with BAs, Devs, Product Owners
- Comfortable leading ceremonies or test discussions
- Able to explain defects clearly to technical & non‑technical users
