Purpose of the Role
The Quality and Security Coordinator supports the implementation and maintenance of quality and security activities related to card personalization operations.
This role works closely with local operational teams and regional quality/security teams to help maintain compliance with internal procedures, Scheme requirements, PCI requirements, ISO standards, and customer expectations.
The position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates who would like to develop their expertise in quality and security management within an international manufacturing environment. Training and support will be provided by experienced local and regional team members.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management
- Support quality assurance activities for card production and personalization processes
- Assist in maintaining compliance with customer requirements, PCI standards, ISO standards, and internal quality procedures
- Support continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, and 8D methodologies
- Monitor quality KPI data and support reporting activities
- Assist with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) follow-up activities
- Analyze quality data, customer complaints, and non-conformities to support improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with operational teams to maintain quality procedures and documentation
- Support training activities related to quality and security requirements
- Participate in internal and external audits and support audit preparation activities
- Support customer quality issue follow-up and communication with stakeholders
Security Management
- Support daily security compliance activities within the site
- Participate in security audits and support remediation activities in coordination with local and regional teams
- Coordinate with regional and global security teams to maintain compliance with corporate security standards
Qualifications and Experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification
- 1–3 years of experience in quality management, manufacturing operations, compliance support, or related fields
- Native-level Japanese communication skills
- Daily conversational level English communication skills
- Basic knowledge or practical experience related to quality management or manufacturing quality control is preferred
- Experience in manufacturing or regulated production environments is an advantage
- Knowledge or interest in internationally recognized standards and frameworks is preferred: ISO27001, ISO9001, PCI Card Production & Provisioning, Lean Six Sigma, 8D Methodology
- Experience working in an international environment is a plus
