VP Finance | High-Growth Fintech | Remote | $275k–$350k + Bonus + Equity
The Company
We’re partnered with a rapidly scaling fintech company focused on expanding access to modern financial tools for hourly and frontline workers. With a nationwide employer footprint and recent institutional backing that includes a significant growth equity round and a large credit facility, the company has substantial capital to accelerate product development, strengthen infrastructure, and broaden its reach.
Rather than operating as a short-term lending solution, the platform enables employees to access wages they’ve already earned, on their own schedule. The goal is simple but powerful: improve cash-flow flexibility, reduce reliance on high-cost alternatives, and support long-term financial stability. Through a technology-first, approach, the company has already facilitated over a billion dollars in early wage access while becoming a trusted partner to employers looking to enhance retention and employee satisfaction.
As it enters its next growth phase, the business is evolving beyond a standalone employee app into a broader embedded payments and payroll enablement platform. The expanding product suite allows payroll processors, HR platforms, and workforce management systems to integrate real-time pay capabilities directly into their ecosystems. This includes certified partnerships within major HCM environments, and distribution through established marketplace channels, positioning the company as foundational infrastructure within the modern payroll stack.
The Role
The VP of Finance will lead the company's FP&A and strategic finance functions, owning forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, business performance management, and strategic decision support. The VP of Finance will also own the accounting and controllership teams to ensure financial reporting, operational metrics, and business insights are aligned and support the company's broader financial objectives.
This role serves as a key strategic partner to the CFO and executive team, helping shape the company's financial strategy while building scalable planning processes, performance frameworks, and decision-support capabilities. As the organization continues to grow, this leader will play a critical role in evaluating investments, optimizing resource allocation, and supporting enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
