he SME for High School Math will develop comprehensive, rigorous instructional materials aligned to U.S. curriculum frameworks for Grades 9–12. Courses may include Algebra I & II, Geometry, Precalculus, and related college- and career-preparatory mathematics.
Key Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expertise
- Develop content aligned to the U.S. elementary math curriculum, including:
- Algebra
- Functions
- Geometry
- Statistics & Probability
- Advanced Topics (as applicable)
Emphasize mathematical modeling, rigor, precision, and multiple solution strategies.
2. Instructional Design & Development
- Create standards-aligned lesson plans with measurable objectives.
- Develop assessments aligned to grade-level rigor.
- Design scaffolded and differentiated practice.
- Identify media needs such as visual models, graphing tools, and digital interactives.
3. Collaboration & Feedback
- Work closely with Instructional Designers and curriculum leads.
- Revise content based on review cycles and participate in planning sessions.
Qualifications Required
- :Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- .Experience teaching or developing curriculum for Grades 6–8 (U.S. curriculum preferred)
- .Strong understanding of elementary math pedagogy
- .Comfortable using AI tools for content drafting, review, and problem generation with proper validation
