Job Description

  • Develops implements and regularly revises the credit policy and the respective procedures, ensures their effective implementation to be in alignment with the current legislation and regulations as well as with Bank of China group guidelines.
  • Manage and mentor a team of credit analysts and officers, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Executes credit-worthiness analysis in order to ensure the accurate and timely evaluation of all client requests and the minimization of credit risk.
  • Ensure appropriate allocation of credit facilities to clients, based on comprehensive analysis of their financial status, industry trends, risk profiles and the banks risk appetite.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers to assess client needs, structure credit facilities, and provide insights to tailor financial products accordingly.
  • Executes the review and checking of compliance of credit terms & conditions before utilization of approved limit.
  • monitor all necessary actions (i.e. collaterals, loan restructuring, credit files archiving, etc.) taken to minimize the Bank’s exposure to credit risks and operational risk related to credit businesses.
  • Regularly monitors and reports credit risk exposure to authorities.
  • Follows and timely review of the credit portfolio of the Bank.
  • Follows sectoral updates in the market.
  • Oversees data collection ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Develops, implements and maintains credit data marts for modeling and reporting
  • Coordinate the ESG risk related matters in the bank.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university with a major in Business/Economics/Finance.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in the related function of banking sector
  • A solid understanding of credit portfolio management and financial products / instruments
  • Excellent knowledge and analytical skills of markets, credit business and regulations
  • Experienced in regulatory credit risk reporting
  • Advanced level of spoken and written English
  • Advanced level of MS Office programs
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, and consistently accurate
  • High level of organization and excellent project management skills
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
