Agile Technical Manager (12–14 Years)

Role Purpose

The Agile Technical Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and governing customer implementations.

The role ensures successful delivery by managing project schedules, dependencies, risks, resources, and stakeholder communications while working closely with Business Analysts, Implementation Architects, Configurators, QA teams, DevOps, Product Teams, and customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage implementation plans, timelines, and delivery milestones.
  • Establish and manage sprint cadence, planning activities, and delivery governance.
  • Coordinate delivery activities across Business, Product, Architecture, Configuration, QA, DevOps, and Support teams.
  • Manage customer-specific configuration workstreams including Rules Configuration (FEEL – Friendly Enough Expression Language), n8n, Workflow Configuration, form.io Configuration, Integration Configuration, User Access Configuration, Document Configuration, and Data Migration activities.
  • Provide regular delivery updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Track project scope, schedule, budget, and resource utilization.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely resolution of blockers.
  • Support release planning, deployment coordination, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery processes, governance standards, and implementation of best practices.
  • Drive successful transition to support and hyper-care activities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 12–14 years of experience in project management, technical program management, or software implementation delivery.
  • Strong experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain; Knowledge of Commercial Lines and Specialty Insurance, considered an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Good experience of workflow automation platforms, configurable enterprise applications, and implementation-driven delivery models.
  • Familiarity with BPMN-based workflow automation and business process orchestration platforms such as Camunda, Flowable, Appian, or similar technologies
  • Understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, cloud-native architectures, data migration, and deployment processes.
  • Experience managing cloud-native, SaaS, or AI-enabled product implementations.
  • Strong project planning, dependency management, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery management tools.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience working with insurance carriers and clients across North America or Europe.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Intelligent Automation, Workflow Automation, Business Process Management (BPM), AI-enabled solutions, or Document Processing platforms.
  • Experience working with workflow platforms, business rules engines, integration frameworks, low-code/no-code platforms, or intelligent automation solutions.
  • Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile/Project Management certification.
