Key Account Manager - Commercial Risk

The on-site, Al Khobar based Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional service. This role involves strategic planning, client relationship management, and coordination with internal teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions in the Kingdom and as a part of our global team.

What the day will look like

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business operations and risk profiles to recommend suitable insurance products and solutions.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products and services. Actively seek new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Account Management: Handle the renewal process, including reviewing existing coverage and suggesting updates. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with underwriting, claims, and other departments to ensure client needs are met and provide continuous support.
  • Market Analysis: Provide reports, presentations, and recommendations on market trends, customer trends, and competitors' actions.
  • Problem Resolution: Assist clients in navigating the claims process and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of account management strategies.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Insurance, Risk Management, Risk Engineering or Actuary preferred
  • ACII, CII UK certifications, as well as the CPCU, CIC and CLU preferred

Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
